Heat Pumps

Despite the fact that heat pumps are a (quasi) obligation for every new construction, they are still not fully known by many people. Well, EnergyKing happens to be becoming one of the references in Flanders when it comes to heat pump technology. We carry out heat pump projects all over Flanders, and especially in geothermal energy we are very strong.

To explain very briefly anyway, a heat pump literally pumps heat from one place to another. From outside to inside or from inside to outside. It's as simple as that. So a heat pump can always both heat and cool! Pun intended, no wonder you don't think about an old polluting gas or fuel oil boiler when you remodel!

Air conditioning

An air-to-air heat pump is characterized by an outdoor unit and one (or more) indoor units, depending on how many rooms you want to cool. Through the indoor unit, heat is extracted and transported to the outdoor unit, which removes it. In addition to cooling, your air conditioner can also heat, in which case the reverse process takes place. Heat is then pumped in from outside through your outdoor unit.

In addition to cooling in the summer and heating in the winter, an air-to-air heat pump can also purify the air. Thanks to an air conditioner's filtration system, pollen, dust mites and foul odors go unfiltered. It also dehumidifies the air so you no longer have a sticky feeling or drier air.

Charging points

Electric cars mean that we are at the dawn of a new era. You probably know someone who drives electric or are considering making the switch yourself. Then it's important to know how to charge that car as quickly as possible so that you have a full battery and thus maximum driving range.

The 3 main factors that determine what type of charging station you need are: your home/company's electrical grid connection, your car's internal inverter and the charging cable. Every charging solution comes with a charging cable, whether it's a wallbox or charging station. Solar panels and electric driving are also an ideal combination. Home Batteries

Do you already have solar panels or will be installing them soon? Then a home battery may be of interest to you! When your solar panels generate more energy than you use, the surplus is injected into the electricity grid. With a battery, you can store your generated energy yourself. Ideal when you are away from home and the sun is shining. Instead of taking energy from the grid, you can use your own stored energy. Only when your battery is empty will you draw energy from the grid.
