Which charging station is compatible with my car?
Does your car have a Type 2 plug (like almost every European EV and plug-in hybrid)? If so, it’s compatible with both charging stations. The difference between the charging stations lies in their design and features, not in compatibility.

5 Smart Control
No smart control
Your charging station always charges at full power.
Please note: without load balancing, you risk tripping your home's main circuit breaker,
and you'll pay more for electricity because your peak consumption will increase. That's why we don't recommend this option.

Built-in Smart Control

A single system that optimizes your entire energy management. It intelligently controls not
only your
charging station but also your solar panels and home battery.

- Solar-Powered Charging
- Charging at dynamic rates
- Manage your charging sessions remotely using the app
- Smart control of other technologies (solar panels, home battery, etc.)

Built-in control system
By connecting to the P1 port on your digital meter, it provides:
- Load balancing – your charging station automatically adjusts the charging power so that your main circuit never becomes overloaded.
- Solar-powered charging – you charge (partly) using the surplus energy from your solar panels instead of feeding it back into the grid.
KingConnect EMS Upgrade
A comprehensive energy management system that controls your entire installation, not just your charging station. In addition to load balancing and solar-powered charging, you get:
- Charging at dynamic prices —you charge automatically when electricity is cheapest (only available with a dynamic energy contract).
- Peak Management (Capacity Rate) – You avoid unnecessary consumption peaks and keep your monthly peak under control.
- Remote Management – You can manage and monitor your charging sessions from anywhere using the app.
- One system for everything —the charging station, battery, and solar panels work together instead of separately.
- Curtailment of your solar panels – reducing output in the event of negative feed-in rates or overproduction.
- Managing Your Home Battery – Smart Charging and Discharging at the Right Time.
