Acquisition of Eco-Project
EnergyKing is taking a new step in its growth strategy and welcomesEco-Projectfrom Aalst to the group. The company, which has long been known for its high-qualitysolar panel installations,home batteries, andcharging infrastructure, strengthens our presence in East Flanders and our expertise in solar energy.
A Shared Vision for Sustainable Energy
Eco-Project was founded in 2016 by childhood friends Reinout Crabbe and David Beulens and has grown over the years to become a trusted player in the Dender region. Their approach, personalized support, and strong after-sales service align seamlessly with EnergyKing’s values.
“The Dender region has a lot of potential for us,”says Wiet Vande Velde, director of EnergyKing. “Eco-Project shares our vision. Together, we can offer customers an even more comprehensive range of services.”
At Eco-Project, too, the team is looking forward to the future with enthusiasm. “We’re proud of what we’ve built over the past few years,” says co-managerTibo Van Snickt. “By becoming part of EnergyKing, we can support our customers even better in their energy transition. We remain the same trusted partner, but with additional expertise and a broader range of services. For example, customers can now also turn to us for heat pumps and ventilation systems.”

Eco-Project will continue to operate in Aalst, with its trusted team and current managers on board. For both individuals and businesses, this means they can continue to count on a local point of contact that places a high priority on quality and service.

Since investorPE Capital Groupjoined the company in 2024, EnergyKing has been pursuing an accelerated expansion strategy. Following the acquisitions ofJokri(Kampenhout),JRB(Ninove), andEnergiecenter Geuns(Hechtel-Eksel),Eco-Projectrepresents the next step in strengthening our position in Flanders.
