Digital Meter & Network
KingConnect connects to your digital meter (P1) and network. Here are a few quick questions so we can prepare for the installation.
* Is the P1 port on the digital meter already in use?
💡 The P1 port is a small connector on the bottom or side of the meter. Check to see if there's already a cable plugged into it.
⚠️ An active P1 splitter is required — this will be included in the quote.
* How far away is the digital meter from the internet router?
💡 Keep in mind the path the cables will take—partition walls and floors count.

Inverter(s) & battery
Add each inverter. An inverter can be connected to solar panels, a home battery, or both—specify what is connected to each inverter. KingConnect communicates with each device over the network.

For smart dynamic charging, KingConnect controls each charging station via the network. Add all charging stations.
