Acquisition of Energiecenter Geuns
EnergyKing, a provider of sustainable energy solutions, announces the acquisition of Energiecenter Geuns. This acquisition was completed in early 2025. Energiecenter Geuns is a family-owned business based in Limburg that specializes in HVAC (heating, ventilation, and air conditioning) and renewable energy systems such as solar panels and heat pumps.
By joining forces, EnergyKing is expanding its operations into the province of Limburg and strengthening its portfolio with Geuns’ HVAC expertise. Until now, EnergyKing has primarily operated in Flemish Brabant, Antwerp, and Walloon Brabant; with an Energiecenter Geuns branch in Hechtel-Eksel and a showroom in Hasselt, EnergyKing now also has a physical presence in Limburg.

The acquisition is part of EnergyKing’s strategic growth vision, which focuses on expanding into new regions and services. With that capital injection, EnergyKinglaunchedabuy-and-build strategy, integrating local players with complementary expertise. The acquisition of Energiecenter Geuns—following the acquisitions of Jokri in Kampenhout and JRB in Ninove in 2024—is the next step in this strategy and strengthens EnergyKing’s position in the Flemish renewable energy market.

Energiecenter Geuns was founded in 1994 and has grown into a renowned company in Limburg specializing in sustainable energy solutions and HVAC. With showrooms in Hechtel-Eksel and Hasselt and a team of about 30 employees, Geuns offers comprehensive solutions for residential and commercial buildings—ranging from heat pumps, ventilation, and air conditioning to solar panels, home batteries, and charging stations.
