FBAA

The Federation of Belgian Bus and Coach Operators represents the interests of 300 Belgian bus and coach companies.

Project Description

At the headquarters of the FBAA (Federation of Belgian Bus and Coach Operators), sustainability and convenience go hand in hand. To electrify the site, which is shared with several other companies, EnergyKing implemented a comprehensive solution featuring 146 kWp of solar panels, battery storage, and 80 smart charging stations.

The centerpiece of this project is the KingConnect EMS. This system not only ensures technical balance—by maximizing the use of solar energy and smoothing out peak consumption with the battery—but also guarantees a seamless user experience. Thanks to the integration between KingConnect and the CPO software, billing for charging sessions is fully automated. Whether it’s one of your own employees or an employee from another company in the building, billing is smooth and transparent.

With annual savings of €27,000 and a CO2 reduction of nearly 24 metric tons, the FBAA headquarters proves that large-scale charging infrastructure is perfectly manageable when the right technology is in charge.
