EnergyKing handled the complete fit-out of a new warehouse on Karel Van Miertstraat in Kortenberg for VDH Kortenberg. The project involved a wide range of technical systems
The isothermal design formed the backbone of the project. An entrance hall was installed, complemented by a large cold storage room measuring 8 by 15 meters, two additional cold storage rooms currently under construction, and a separate cutting area—all constructed using 80-mm industrial insulation panels. In addition, staff facilities were set up, including areas for restrooms, a shower, a changing room, an office, and an archive.
Cooling systems were fully installed for all areas: the large cold storage room, the two attached cold storage rooms, and the warehouse itself, which is kept at 12°C. A Daikin multi-split heat pump system was installed for the office and the cafeteria.
The plumbing work included the complete fitting out of the restrooms and shower, a kitchenette, and an outdoor water supply with a freeze-proof exterior faucet. The electrical work included all wiring and data networks for the warehouse, including lighting, electrical outlets, a main distribution panel, and power stations.
